Hero Online is a 3-D Fantasy MMORPG with an in-game messenger system as well as a bounty system. Hero Online has four unique classes and a large world to explore. The game’s biggest drawbacks are its slow XP gain and lack of tutorial.

Hero Online is just another run of the mill 3-D MMORPG. You start off by choosing one of the four available classes and picking a faction. You won’t know anything about either of the 2 factions when you’re prompted to choose one, as their descriptions are two Asian symbols. Go ahead and pick a random one, as thats all you really can do. The game follows the mentality of “Ready… Set…. GRIND!” as the game offers no tutorials or help. You start off in a random town and have to go outside and fight until you level. A major problem with the game is the fact that moving shakes the screen. Why the developers haven’t fixed this bug yet is beyond me. Hero Online does offer some interesting features though. The game has a unique bounty system where players can place a bounty on another player’s head. The most nefarious players in the game have bounties that are upwards of 35 million gold. Another unique aspect of Hero Online is the fact that you’re able to respawn wherever you die, erasing any possible penalty for dying. I would only recommend Hero Online if you’ve played every other MMORPG out there, as there are countless better, free MMORPGs available.
