Kicks Online Reviewed

Kicks Online is a relatively new game, a fact which makes the game graphics even more disappointing. Character creation is straight forward. There are three positions: Forward, Midfield, and Defender. The position selection affects the starting statistics of your character in skills such as running, short shots, long shots, and about a dozen others. You are given 10 additional points to allocate as you choose to differentiate your self a bit, but it is suggested that you increase a stat that your character already excels in.There are several face, hair, and color appearance choices for your character, which is always welcome.

Once your character has been created, Kicks Online has an optional tutorial which will introduce each of the game’s moves. The tutorial can be exited and returned to at any time, however, it is recommended that you go through the entire tutorial at once since it is short and the skills it teaches are required to make sense of the game play. Kicks Online can be played as 3v3, 4v4, or 5v5 matches but you’ll have a hard time finding a match no matter which you prefer. The online community is tiny and mostly Brazilian. This means you will have a difficult time communicating with other players and matches will be reduced to uncoordinated messes where everyone just chases the ball.

Even when playing with a competent and coordinated team, the jittery controls and dull game play make Kicks Online less than entertaining. If you’re a soccer fan looking for a free online multi-player game, give Kicks Online a try since its the only game in the genre. If you’re not particularly interested in Soccer, Kicks Online has very little to offer, so be sure to steer clear.
