Mediocre in more ways than one

There is no easy way to put it really, at this point, Chaos Online is leagues behind many other F2P MMOs in a large number of ways. Quests are boring and lack substance, the graphics are old and uncomfortable, the interface is cramped and can be irritating to navigate - do I need to say more? Short answer, no, I probably don't. You should already be starting to get a clear picture of the type of game experience Chaos Online will be offering you should you choose to play it. If you are one of the few who do - then you'll be wanting a little more information.

Girls only… is this a trend?

Firstly, character creation is both limited and found guilty of breaking the golden rule - you cannot choose your sex. Warriors are boys, and mages are girls - tsk, tsk Chaos Online - bad move. One of the better features however, is that for each of the 3 different races (Natarian, Draconian, Genotian), there are different classes for each. Then again, they are basically the same thing with different names, which draws much from the overall effect.

Simple math

Gameplay is similarly lackluster for the most part, with a plethora of boring quests and an inevitable future of grinding awaiting all those who play. Then again - for some, this is more than enough, and my hat goes of to you fine friends - you are clearly in possession of something I am not. Bottom line - Chaos won't be bringing anything new to the table, but isn't taking anything away either. You already know if you're going to enjoy it, and similarly you already know if you're not. If you're confused, give it a shot and find out - could be right up your alley.
