Deco Online
"Deco Online" is a casual PVP MMORPG. Some players may not enjoy the lack of quest text and a true story in the game, but that just means it's easier to play it without having to read a lot of words.
The tutorial also takes you all the way to level 10, which is one of the more rewarding tutorials available. If you want to play an MMORPG with PVP but don't want to devote time to grinding for PVP gear to compete, "Deco's" the game for you!

Review
Originally launched in Singapore on July 2007, Deco Online was later abandoned and shut down on January 2008. Since then, Joymax, the same folks that run Silkroad Online decided to revive Deco Online and see if they could manage it any better. Deco Online is described as a “Casual PVP MMORPG” so its obvious what the main end game content is. There are two factions in Deco Online which are in a permanent state of war with each other; the Millena and Rain factions. Sadly, Deco Online has very limited character and appearance customization options. Players can choose from several hair and face options but this is not enough, everyone ends up looking nearly identical. Even more discouraging, there are far too few class choices in Deco. There are only two first job classes per faction (Swordsmen, Archer | Shaman, Mage) and four or so 2nd job changes (Knight, Mercenary, Slayer, Sniper.)
Deco does have some good features, for instance quest and NPC text is usually short and to the point, no walls of text to dig through for quest objectives. On the downside, even with the small amount of text, the game is full of grammatical errors, the translations are not awful but seeing obvious errors in the dialog is a bit jarring. One of Deco’s most unique features is the Combo System. As characters attack, letters will appear on the screen and players must hit the corresponding key on their keyboard in order to continue to combo. This makes the otherwise boring and long winded combat a bit more interesting. For a game that styles it self as a PvP themed MMORPG, the combat in Deco is rather unexciting.
Hunting monsters around your level takes a long time, even with the combo attacks, which is disappointing. Combat just seems too technical and not fluid enough. Another odd feature in Deco is the quest system. After the initial beginner quests, most new quests must be purchased from an NPC, that’s right in this game you must pay for the privilege of doing favors for the NPCs! Most of the quests are your standard kill quests which doesn’t offer much of a distraction from the mind numbing grind. Since combat is slow and killing each monster takes a relatively long time, most players will grow tired of Deco before they hit the 2nd job change at level 30.
Deco is a relatively new game which has already flopped once and for obvious reasons. In today’s free MMO market, there are much smoother and more entertaining games available. Deco Online is too slow paced and bland and so I cannot recommend it. However, Joymax still has the game under Open Beta and may yet add enough new features to make the game worthwhile some time in the future.
