Dungeon Runners
"Dungeon Runners" is what you would get if Mel Brooks made an action RPG. It's based on "Diablo" and other hack-n-slash games, and plays almost exactly the same (but with new, updated graphics).
The best part of the game, though, is that the entire MMO is filled with jokes and references to other RPGs. From satirical item names to tongue-in-cheek quests, if you're an RPG lover, you'll absolutely love "Dungeon Runners."

Review
Dungeon Runners gets its inspiration from those old school action RPGs that we all loved back in the day, but it takes things a bit further by making humor a part of everything it does. Usually I skip the quest text in MMORPGs, but in Dungeon Runners its actually fun reading, as its usually a parody on common RPG cliches. Everything from NPC dialoge to item descriptions are humorous. But the humor alone can only keep you interested for so long, what really matters is what this game has to offer, and unfortunately it is a bit lacking in that regard.
There are only three classes to pick from: Fighter, Mage, and Ranger. The combat is your standard click and attack system and leveling is quite slow. Outside towns, the game maps are instanced similar to the system Guild Wars uses. This makes the world outside town feel very empty unless you’re playing with friends, and actually encourages players to play on their own, rather than interact with others. Grinding away in a barren map all by yourself isn’t nearly as fun as playing with others, even if they’re not in a party with you, as seeing other people fight and talk adds a sense of community to a game.
Aside from slow leveling and empty environments, players need to pay if they want to access some of the game’s “premium features” which include access to better in game items and armor. Even the premium membership page tells you that without a premium account you won’t be able to get to access the higher level areas of the game. Recently NCSoft made some more of the late game features free, but some of the most important end-game features remain available to only paying members. I recommend you play this game just to experience the humor and the old school game play, But it isn’t something that will keep your interest for long.
