Ikariam
"Ikariam" is a browser game that plays like a mix of RTS and "Civilization."
Players begin with a small plot of land, and after gathering resources and making buildings, you begin the journey to take it to a more prosperous era.
Unlike a lot of browser kingdom games, "Ikariam" lets you compete with allying, resource gathering, and trade, rather than just straight-up war.
The game even has NPC advisors, who will offer you input, advice, and tips as you play. So if you're new to the genre, this is a great game to learn with. And if you've played them all, this one's a great change of pace!
