"The Pimps" is a browser-based "gangsta" sim, in which players compete to rule the streets. It combines traditional simulation gameplay and RPG elements in a romanticized depiction of criminal culture.

Players will buy and distribute guns, pimp rides, manage gangs, sell prostitutes, and push a variety of narcotics on the streets. Individual characters level up and are equipped in RPG fashion, but the primary focus is on money, power, and respect.

The Pimps is a browser based game publishers by Bigpoint which also publishes many other browser games such as Seafight, Gladius 2, Dark Orbit, Space Invasion, and XBlaster. Like most BigPoint games, The Pimps centers around PvP.

But before players can enjoy costly turf wars, they must establish themselves as a successful gangster in their home district. Luckily, new players start with a decent sum of cash along with access to the game's premium content. This gives players 5 special employees that help them run their businesses.

An optional tutorial explains how to make money from each of the 4 methods. Hookers are hired & later you can build a brothel for them. Weed must be grown or purchased from 'The Colombian' and sold by pushers. Crack must be purchased from the Colombian as well, either pure or cut, it too must be sold by pushers.
