Review
Tribal Wars is a medieval strategy game where players take control of a small village and build it up by constructing and upgrading buildings. New players must select between one of several dozen Worlds and which area of that world their first village will occupy. Tribal Wars has a wealth of information to help beginners including an information box which acts as a tutorial, a wiki, and an active forum.
Tribal Wars is one of the most addictive and popular Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games (MMORPGs). The goal of the game is to build an empire. Once you have built up an empire, you can then use your army to either destroy, or to capture, or to enslave online opponents and enemy armies. The game is entirely browser-based and is free to play. You can play from just about any computer with Internet access, there are no downloads necessary at all. That means, even if you are not on your own computer, you can probably still play, even in an Internet shop or at a school computer lab, if the lab lets you.
You register to play the game for free, and choose your username and password. The game is based in the middle ages. Each player controls a small village. You can unite with other villages or tribes to help online friends and real friends to fight their enemies. When your population starts to grow, your fame and power will grow with it. There are one and a half million players registered to play the game of Tribal Wars. These players are distributed all over the world, and interacting with players worldwide is part of the appeal of MMORPGs.
Once you have logged in and obtained your village, you must pursue your goal of obtaining fame and power. You gain this fame and power through a process of strengthening and growing your village. As your village gets bigger and bigger, with population growing and production rising, and trade prospering, your fame and power grow.
At the beginning of the game it is sensible to nurture your villagers and look after their physical needs including constructing buildings and working the farms. Some of the work can be done even when you are not at the PC telling your villagers what they should be doing.
You will need to keep an eye out for other villagers, and especially foreign warriors. For example, you might find that wild axe men have a tendency to stop by for a visit. This wouldn't be a problem except that their idea of a visit is to plunder and kill your villagers. You can gamin some protection from these marauders by joining a tribe. Just like in real life, groups of humans gain protection through the alliances they choose to cultivate. Joining a tribe has other bonuses. Tribes generally consist of other human players, and these human players will give you tips and tricks and show you the ropes of Tribal Wars.
Every village or every player is not your enemy. You can make friends and allies through trades in the market place and also outside of the game on the website and forum at tribalwars.net. This makes the game Tribal Wars more attractive and addictive than a lot of other MMORPGs, because you expand your social network and these contacts help you play the game, creating a very useful feedback loop. You learn strategy of Tribal Wars through the formation of alliances and interaction with other people, making it an eminently social experience.
Tribal Wars MMORPG was created by InnoGames. It is aimed at gamers over twelve years old. Tribal Wars attracts a lot of adult players. They often take tribal wars really seriously and make a lot of new friends while playing. This social networking aspect of the game adds a dimension of appeal. As an adult it's nice knowing there will be other adults that you may end up being friends with in real life. Of course, if you are a kid, there are also plenty of other kids in the game to be friends with, and kids and adults from all over the world will interact with each other.
New units can be bought in the later stages of the game. They are not, however, compulsory. There are also hacks and cheats available for Tribal Wars. Players are better off learning to play the game better or learning to improve their tactics than cheating, however. In the long run it will be more fun if you play the game right than if you take these kinds of shortcuts. The game is about bonding with other people and making friends and alliances, not just merely crushing your enemies by any means available.
When you start the game, you will choose a world to join. The different worlds typically have different rules, speeds, troop types, and so on. In the game, your goal is to collect as many different resources as you can. These resources, including wood, clay and iron, enable you to upgrade and build new buildings in your village. You an gather more resources by upgrading your tools. For example, you may want to upgrade your woodcutter, or your clay pit, or your iron mines. You can also gather resources by attacking other players with troops and stealing their resources. The more you gather in terms of resources the better, so it makes sense to play pretty aggressively and attack other players. However, you will want to do so strategically, and don't attack players whose allies are stronger than your allies, or you may find not only yourself but also your whole tribe in a world of hurt.
Once you have upgraded your village to a certain level, you will be able to build an academy. Once you have an academy you can start training a nobleman. If you attack a village with a nobleman, you reduce that village's loyalty from 1000 usually by an amount between 25 and 30 points. If you repeated attack a village with your nobleman until the loyalty finally reaches zero, you can then take over the village. The village's loyalty increased by a certain number of points every hour, and there are several variables that affect this. The way to get a new village is to capture it.
All in al, Tribal Wars is an exciting and engrossing game. As MMORPGs go it is highly recommended and has a very engaging and lively community.

This game is just so nice. There so many different things that replicate what there in life. First, loyalty (to tribe) Second, Trust (to forge Personal Alliances) Third, Deceptions ( to manipulate) Fourth, skills (to send trains) Etc. Etc. Etc. Ask any TWs permanent players, they can name it all

Any group of players in an area can band together and attack other villages in an attempt to get the owner of the village to abandon the village. Once abandoned, they farm it. Once targeted, you can’t win. You can’t build troops or defenses fast enough to protect yourself. Staying online 24hrs a day can’t prevent the inevitable outcome. If you get targeted, if you don’t stay online you’re going to get farmed because the game only allows for a little amount of resources to be protected from raids. all in all not worth the time of day. You cant win and they are totally unfriendly to new people.
