Twelve Sky
Twelve Sky is a fantasy MMORPG with fast leveling early game and an interesting item drop system similar to that of Diablo 2's. Twelve Sky is unique in the sense that your character always starts out with 1 in each stat, so you can allocate stats exactly how you want them. The end result of a system like this is a character developed exactly the way you want, at least attribute wise.

Overview
Developed by Gigassoft, published by the infamous Aeria Games, and drawing its roots from middle-age China – Twelve Sky is an MMO built from the ground up with high intentions for a thriving community. Players can expect to take part in fast-paced and furious PvP engagements using one of three uniquely designed classes, and can individually develop their skills and weapons to their personal liking – while still enjoying the many luxuries that come hand-in-hand with a fantasy themed MMORPG like questing and slaying monsters for loot and glory!
Review
Twelve Sky is an MMORPG that is extremely difficult to "get into" as leveling is slow and quests are uninspiring. Start off by choosing one of the three available factions; Jinong, Fujin and Guanyin. The faction you select basically determines what class you are, as each faction has its own advantages and disadvantages. When you first begin playing, experience gain is ridiculously fast, an you''l soon find that you can get level 12 in under 10 minutes. Level 14-20 on the other hand, will take closer to 3 hours. And at level 15 it seems almost like you hit a brick wall, with the experience gain coming to a complete halt. Why the developers choose to make the experience gain so inconsistent is beyond me, as it draws much from the immersion and overall flow of the game.
Look on the bright side
On a more positive note, the publishers of Twelve Sky are always actively involved in game events and updates. Every holiday, you can bet that the folks over at Aeria Games are working to create an in game event for that specific holiday, whether it's bonus experience or fun new quests. Twelve Sky also has daily events which range from "bunny races" to "no experience penalty" depending on which day of the week it is. Other game publishers should definitely take note of this, as daily events are a great way to keep players hooked, and are certainly an enjoyable addition to the game. I applaud Aeriagames for their active involvement with the game's community.
Menu buttons – now with Stealth!
Probably the biggest downside to Twelve Sky is that the game's graphics are quite poor, and everything seems blurry and jagged. The most unusual thing I noticed about Twelve Sky is the options page. On the bottom of options page, there is a button for exit and logout. One would assume that exit would close the options menu, while log out will log you off from the game, but nope. In Twelve Sky if you hit Exit, it closes the game, not the options screen. Only after careful examination did I find an X in the top corner of the options menu, which closed the options screen. The X was remarkably well hidden, and was blended in with the options menu, making it excruciatingly hard to find.
Doing it right
Putting aside the few game flaws, Twelve Sky is definitely a game worth checking out. It's heavily grind-based, which many players will find adds much to the overall challenge of the game, and the publishers are always taking an active part in it's progression to ensure that there is always something new and exciting to take part in.
A Holly, Jolly Christmas!
Currently, Twelve Sky is holding their annual "Twelve Days of Twelve Sky" event that offers players a free in-game item for each of the twelve days leading up to Christmas. To take part in the fun, and head over to our promotion page and sign up for your exclusive MMOHub access key!
