A patch for free-to-play MMORPG “Atlantica Online” has been announced by NDOORS Interactive. This patch is likely going to be implemented during tomorrow's 7-hour downtime, and will include several updates in an attempt to improve gameplay and overall experience.

One new feature includes a Jackpot System, which enables a player to gamble for a large quantity of an item. The odds are determined by the value of that item. This may not be a great addition for those who use MMORPGs to escape from gambling addictions in their everyday lives. However, using a game to help with your addiction is probably better than not doing anything at all; until you start using microtransactions to support your in-game gambling habit.

A new dungeon for level 120 or higher players entitled “Mysterious Inn” will be added to the Central Asia region. No details have been released on what sort of content is in this new dungeon. Maybe there will be a concierge and a continental breakfast. Maybe the inn will have the whole “I’m haunted because I was once a hospital” theme. Maybe NDOORS will release details on the “Mysterious Inn” so people like me will stop coming up with stupid ideas. Maybe.

Other additions that will be a part of the patch for the MMORPG are improved area betting, a chatting emoticon function and the ability to craft necklaces as well as rings. The balance of the mercenaries in Free League will also be adjusted and will have an effect on a character’s basic stats and their damage according to their class type.
