The developers of the sci-fi hack-n-slash MMORPG "2029 Online" want the game to set a standard in the world of PvP. A lot of time and effort has been devoted in adding new PvP arenas and a sweeping PvE warfare system that puts you up against some cunning foes, but still keeps you engaged in the PvP environment.

We all know that hardcore players love to kill low level players in an MMORPG to get a good laugh. I have personally had a lot of experience with being the one getting ganked while leveling up. "2029 Online" helps to relieve some of that frustration by not letting others kill you until you have reached level 40, giving you some time to hopefully be somewhat decent at defending yourself. It's like they're holding your hand until you reach the cafeteria. Once you're inside, though, it's fair game; your lunch money could be stolen at any minute. Hopefully those karate lessons will help you out.

There are different PvP modes, which are entitled "Peace," "All," "Party," "Justice" and "Guild" modes.

Peace Mode - Exactly as it sounds, you can't hurt anyone while in this mode.

All Mode - You can hurt anyone at any time.

Party Mode - Andrew W.K. appears with some drinks. Ok, not really. When you attack, you can only injure those who are not in your party.

Justice Mode - You can only injure players who are yellow or red.

Guild Mode - Your guild members will be safe from your attacks.

More interesting PvP features include Dishonor Points that are given when you succeed in killing a white-status player and Death Punishment, which is about players losing items and equipment when they are killed. To read more about these features, see the official post.
