Everquest, Sony Online Entertainment’s longest running MMORPG, has announced last June 2009 its 16th expansion, Underfoot. Fans waiting for updates need not wait any longer. Sony has just opened beta signups for the Underfoot expansion. The beta testing period will be open from October 20, 2009 to December 1, 2009.

Thankfully, the beta signup process is easier to deal with now. Interested players would only need to signup once, and their registration will remain in the beta tester pool for every testing stage. Plus, the beta signups will remain open up until the testing ends, giving everyone the chance to jump into the pool anytime during the test.
