Frogster’s flagship MMORPG, Runes of Magic, had a massive update yesterday with its most recent 2.1 patch. The latest patch for the “Elven Prophecy” chapter adds a new zone called the “Aotulia Volcano,” the game’s hottest area with quests and monsters for players above level 40.

Similarly, a new instance has been added, “Cave of the Water Dragon.” This is a 6-man level 55 instance, probably the hardest instance players will tread to date. The dungeon is apparently filled with high level elementals and, of course, an elite dragon monst

Along with these new areas, Frogster has also added a new feature to the game called “Cross Server PVP.” This new addition allows players to test their skills against players across all regional servers, a very good chance to meet new faces and perhaps gain an idea or two about character builds from other servers.
