By now, most of us are probably tired of traditional mounts in MMOs such as armored horses, tigers, and elephants. We want something new, different, and preferably eye-catching. Enter MMORPG publisher/developer IGG, who has answered the call to arms.

According to a recent announcement, the isometric free-to-play MMORPG "Angels Online" will soon receive five of the most creative mounts I've seen: a flying sand camels, desert ostriches, panda robots, motorized hot tubs, and a banana held up by a small army of monkeys.

These new fancy forms of transportation aren't just pretty looking, either. Each has its own unique set of stats; for example, the hot tub. The vessel may be the fastest of the five, with a +55% increase to movement speed, but it also requires the highest level (120).

But enough talk of the hot tub. Here's a quote from the description for the banana mount: "What self respecting king could resist 4 strapping monkeys carrying a banana sedan chair?"

Good question.
