With the success of the English and German translations of “Runes of Magic”, Frogster has announced that their hit free-to-play MMORPG will be greeting the French and Spanish market by September. It just so happens that September is also the current launch date of "Chapter II – The Elven Prophecy," which won our Best of E3 award for best free-to-play MMORPG. Frogster is moving fast as the sites for both localizations are now live, and even have ways in which to register for the closed and open beta phases. (French site;  Spanish site)

Closed beta is set to start in July for each of the localizations on their own set of dedicated servers, with an open beta to follow sometime in August after a final character wipe. One might fear that due to the late launch of these localizations they’d have to wait for all the patches and content updates that the English and German sides have seen. Never fear, however, as the French and Spanish versions will appear with much, if not all, of the content that the other sections of “Runes of Magic” have seen. No word yet on if they'll launch with the full "Chapter 2" update of the MMORPG, however.
