Jagex and MMOHub close the

submission stage of their first-ever

RuneScape Comic contest

Now onto picking the winners of this unique prize!

 

This weekend our RuneScape comic contest finished the stage where we accept entries by gamers. Now is the time Jagex and MMOHub personnel judge the almost 60 entries we received from everyone!

So far, we've had a ton of fun and the folks at Jagex have been amazing in their support of this event! My co-host of this promotion on the RuneScape team had these words to say to our community yesterday:

 

"Hi there Hubbers!

Well, it’s been a good 3 weeks since we got together with MMOhub to launch our first ever comic competition and I’m so pleased that we had the fantastic response we've had. We’ve seen wizards blown up in a variety of ways and drunken dwarves collapsing in more amusing ways than you can shake a cheap kebab at. It’s been great fun checking out the level of creativity you guys have come up with and it’s really inspired us to run similar competitions in the future. =)

All good things must come to an end though and so with the competition now closed MMOhub and us here at Jagex are currently battling it out to decide who should win the competition. As soon as we’ve settled on a winner and two runners up, we’ll let you know and get to work putting your idea into Mod Laura's Jagex’d up comic strip.

So, thanks again for being a part of the competition whether you’ve been cheering on your fellow RuneScapians or taking part yourself. We’ll be holding an event in game in the next couple of weeks to celebrate the competition and hopefully, we’ll have chance to meet you so you can talk us through your ideas in a bit more detail.
