I just spent the better part of an hour chatting with Silverlode's marketing director, Slava Zatuchny, about their current "Saga" plans, as well as their latest release, "Saga Catapult." For those unfamiliar with the game, "Saga Catapult" is an iPhone/iPod Touch game that may not be an MMO, but takes place in the "Saga" universe.(Click here to go to the game's page in the app store.)

So why am I talking about it here, on a site that specializes in free-to-play MMOs? Simple: because in the future (hopefully soon), playing "Saga Catapult" will reward you in "Saga."

That's right -- if you play "Catapult," you'll be able to earn gold (and possibly other rewards) for your "Saga" account. And don't worry if you don't have an iPhone, iPod Touch, or don't want to spend money buying the app; the 100% free version that can be played in browsers is nearly finished, and when it launches, it's going to launch with the "Saga Catapult" to "Saga" connectivity.
