One way developers keep players interested in an online game is by tossing new content at them like they're pre-adolescent children with the smallest possible attention spans. "Hey, don't you dare play that other game! Look! We have new 'STUFF!'"

Just weeks after the release of the "Diablo-styled" free-to-play online action RPG "Warrior Epic," publisher True Games has announced the first expansion for the title. According to the release, "Trogken Swamps" will feature tons of new missions, monsters, and unique gear for your warriors, as well as "all-new PVP gameplay" available to anyone who's at least level 10.

And that's it. No CEO or PR rep commented on the news...

Oh, who am I kidding. Here's the quote from Peter Cesario, director of product and business development at True Games.

"Our promise to the 'Warrior Epic' community is that the game will never get stale or repetitive. We want 'Warrior Epic' fans to find something new and exciting about the game every time they login, and this new expansion is just one of many great gameplay updates they can look forward to as the community continues to grow."

If all goes according to plan, the update will be available for the online hack-n-slash free of charge sometime this July.
