In a world full of MMO games that happen to be getting progressively more multiplayer, whether that be trading or PvP combat and the like or something else, "Wurm Online" is taking a turn in the opposite direction; they have begun to open new servers on what they’ve dubbed the Freedom Isles that are without any sort of PvP action whatsoever.

This decision isn’t meant for roleplay purposes, as the stated cause is the fact that not everyone wants to PvP, but it has certainly been explained in roleplaying terms. The people have moved to these Isles in an effort to live a more peaceful life while the other players, and I quote, “will all be moving to the Wild server where Jenn Kellon comes head to head with Mol Rahan, and the Horde of the Summoned convert players to their own black god, Libila.”

I have absolutely no idea what this means, but it certainly sounds foreboding! Keep in mind that the Freedom Isles are a premium zone as well, so without paying you’re going to be stuck combating other players in this MMO.
